On our own property
We have various Bush and Stream Tracks to the Big Totatara River on our property. Not to mention you can refresh and indulge yourself in tranquil river pools here. On a rainy day you can always read a book and relax. Come and see us for any other enquiries, or just to have a chat.

Activities and easy Day Trips In the Buller Region
Surrounded by native forest, the magnificent Paparoa Mountains and impressive Buller River, there is a lot on offer for adventures as dynamic and diverse as the inspiring environment.
You can choose to go Cave Rafting, Jet Boating, Horse Trekking or to take a trip on a Quad Bike. We can help you to book any of these activities via Buller Adventure Tours or Norwest Adventure Tours.

Feel more like hiking or tramping? For starters there's the beautiful coastal scenery of The Cape Foulwind Walkway and also the easy grade Charming Creek Walkway to the Falls. There are plenty of walks available in the Buller Region for all levels of experience. You will find more information on our 'links' page.
Your visit to the Buller region won't be complete when you haven't visited a few iconic places. Make sure you go to Cape Foulwind to visit the Fur Seal Colonies. Have coffee and cake while watching the waves roll in from the deck of the famous Bayhouse Cafe. Take a drive to the Pancake Rocks and Blowholes (only 20 km from the hostel). Don't forget to visit the Scenic Buller Gorge or a day trip to Karamea and the Oparara Arches.
